Tonight it is quiet. I am sitting in the dark, with only the beam of my monitor to keep me company. Tonight, as I sit alone, my mind is consumed with some of the actions I have taken, and have claimed they are in the name of justice for Michael Jackson. Originally, I started this blog because I felt there was a lot of information being sent to Jackson fans that was simply untrue. If one was to read one of the first blogs I posted, they would see that their was a lack of emotion to them. This was done purposefully, because my single intent was to get the facts as I saw them, out to the MJ fanbase.
As time moved on, and more blogs were posted, I became friends with many of you. Many of you are my good friends. I have argued incessantly with some of you, but many of those people I respect. For example, MuzikFactory2 and I sit in opposition when it comes to the Estate executors (in particular, John Branca) yet she stood against Howard Mann and FOR the Estate when she felt that Michael's children were being exploited. I cannot tell you how much I respect that. Another example is MJJ777HeTheWo, who I blocked on my Twitter, yet she had the sense to ask to be unblocked. Although we are also in opposition on some issues involving Michael, I now realize how stupid I was to block her. MJJ777HeTheWo, only wants justice for Michael Jackson. In BOTH cases, these individuals were the better person, while I was stuck on stupid, for lack of a better phrase.
Some of you I have fought FOR causes TOGETHER. We have fought to stop the Discovery's autopsy show. We have tried to raise awareness for (the awesome) Joe Vogel's book Man in the Music. We have discussed behind closed doors subjects that we felt we needed to tackle in order for justice for Michael Jackson and to change the face of his legacy.
I have seen others who I was not involved with, accomplish amazing feats for Michael. Michael's name being unveiled at the Gardener Elementary School by Jennifer Marino's group brought me to tears. Charles Thomson's pieces on Michael have been nothing short of enlightening literary pieces that gave me and countless others more inspiration that he could possibly know. Blogs written by Seven, Vindicate MJ, Leslie Hu, Nikki, our new anonymous blogger(s) and others put information out to the public that is absolutely vital and encourage others in the fan base to continue to help promote a positive legacy for Michael Jackson. FB pages like MJ Investigative Research and fan sites like MJJC, MJNA, United4MJLegacy and MJJJusticeProject provide a plethora of information that fans rely on on a daily basis.
All of these people (and others who wish to remain in the background...you know who you are) have been working so diligently in a manner that Michael told us to live by. We use Michael as our example. I try to do the same thing. I try to live by God's word, and by Michael's ethic of compassion and love. However, somewhere along the line, I fell off track.
It's one thing to defend one's self. It's one thing to disprove some of the "facts" (and I use that term loosely...I can't help myself) that some of Michael's "supporters" are putting out there. It's another thing to lose yourself in that fight. And this is what I've done. Instead of keeping Michael Jackson and God in my fight, I lost it in the anger I feel for those who I feel are deliberately misleading the fans.
And so I want to sincerely apologize to those who have witnessed this mess I have created. I want to make it clear that I am in no way stating that I feel I was wrong for stating the facts to disprove some of the actions of some of Michael's so-called supporters. This apology aims at those who I believe ARE trying to make a difference with FACTS that are supported. I am now back on track, and ready to help promote Michael's ethic and legacy in the best way I know how.
